In all honesty I don’t know where I’m going with this project and have next to no motivation to continue with it. I just want to make a game that I will enjoy and I want to play, I don’t want to have to change my ideas to something that will bore my to tears for the rest of the year just so it fits with the female millennial audience.
The ideas I’ve made appeal to me, so who am I?
- Student
- Gamer
- Female
- Enjoys healing and controlling of statistics, fast paced,
- Stresses out constantly – doesn’t deal with stress well.
I suppose I’m not too different from the target audience as it is, being a stressful young woman, and if I like the idea of the game, why wouldn’t others? Though I suppose I’d prefer the game from an entertainment point of view than a serious one, so could this be a factor. Do I need to change the type of game make from serious to entertainment? Perhaps the purpose of the game is to entertain, with the use of stress being there to inform design decisions, rather than teach people about it.
Serious or Entertainment?
